I remember hearing Towner’s music 15 years ago for the first time. After hearing Alieksey play the Juggler’s Etude in Arizona, I really got hooked. He’s an incredible musician, and has an unbelievable understanding of how to make the guitar sound good.

I met the man in December last year, and then we talked about making a recording his unpublished works for classical guitar. I’m waiting for the scores to 4 Etudes that he’s reworking. Hope to be performing them very very soon.
