The Lodger

  • One of the most iconic films from the silent era and the first full-length feature of Alfred Hitchcock. We are taken through the London Fog where a murderer is hunting down young ladies with “golden curls”. A mysterious Lodger finds a room to rent in the area where the murders take place. The film score by Joseph Williams, composer in residence at Austin Classical Guitar.

  • The Lodger is scored for guitar quartet, cello and effects. Our team is based in Norway: cellist, Jan Clemens Carlsen of the Engegård StrykkeKvartet. Guitarists/Bassist/Baritone: Runar Kjeldsberg, Tim McVeigh-Pedersen, Ole-Martin Huser Olsen, and Randall Avers (artistic director.)

  • Perhaps the best Halloween show you can see? The Lodger is performed at the end of October and beginning of November every year in Scandinavia.
